Booking a Table
We will request full payment for ticketed events like our Wine Dinners and bespoke afternoon teas.
In the event of a guest needing to cancel for events, management hold the right to allow or not allow the payent to be transferred to an alternative date.
In the instance of private events paying deposits toward booking, no refunds will be issued if the deposit payment is not fully used.
However, as a gesture of goodwill, gift vouchers maybe be issued to the guest by way of reimbursement. (at managers discretion)
These vouchers carry a validity of 12 months and are redeemable towards the goods and services provided at The Broadcroft Hotel and may not be exchanged for cash.
Booking a Room
The terms and conditions outlined below apply to all bookings with Broadcroft Hotel whether you make them online at www.broadcrofthotel.com by telephone on 01417750398, or in person.
You can only make a booking if you are 18 years old or over. If you arrive at the hotel and are under 18 years of age you will not be permitted to stay. We may require photo ID as proof of age.
Booking online is quick, easy and completely secure. You will always be offered our best available rates of the day.
When you book a room, unless otherwise stated, no payment will be taken from your card and you will pay for your room on arrival at the hotel. You can cancel your booking up to 48 hours prior to 12pm on the date of your arrival without penalty.
Payment
The Broadcroft Hotel accept payments by MasterCard, Visa, Maestro, Cash and from Broadcroft Hotel gift cards, please note we do not accept American Express.
Refunds
Refunds will be processed within five working days direct to the card/method of payment provided.
Check-in / Check-out
Guest bedrooms are available after 3pm on the day of arrival. Should you arrive earlier we shall endeavour to accommodate you. The room needs to be vacated by 10:30am on the day of departure. Late check-out may be available on request, simply ask at reception and we’ll notify you of any additional charges. There will be a £10.00 charge if your room card is not returned to reception upon check out.
Dietary / Allergen
We cater to all dietary requirements with a range of gluten-free and vegan or vegetarian options available. If you have a specific allergy or dietary requirements, please do ensure to let us know at least 48 hours in advance.
Parking
Complimentary onsite parking is available but subject to availability.
WI-FI
Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel.
Smoking
The Broadcroft Hotel abides by the Smoking, Health and Social Care (Scotland) Act 2005. The Broadcroft Hotel is a strictly non-smoking hotel outwith designated outdoor area. Smoking in any of the Hotel’s public areas or guests’ rooms is therefore prohibited. The Broadcroft hotel reserve the right to demand the guest reimburse any associated cleaning costs, as well as loss of earnings from the inability to sell the room. Smoking cigarettes or vaporisers are prohibited within the hotel’s premises. A deep cleaning charge of £150.00 will be applied if we find evidence or believe you have been smoking.
Vandalism
Any vandalism, theft or damage to the bedrooms will not be tolerated, we have the right to charge accordingly of £150.00 and therefore will be prosecuted if refusal of payment.
Theft
We are not liable for any personal belongings left within the hotel. Our doors automatically lock and is your responsibility to ensure they are closed.
Lift Access
We have no lift within the hotel and all our bedrooms are located on the second floor.

Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with Scots law without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have between us regarding the Service.
Changes
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
